Alberta premier plugs holes left by ministers seeking to replace him


On Tuesday, when the spring sitting of the legislature begins, Verlyn Olson will walk into the building his grandfather helped build to sit for the first time on the front bench as Alberta’s new justice minister.

“It’s going to feel really neat,” Mr. Olson said Thursday after Premier Ed Stelmach named him to replace Alison Redford in the justice portfolio.
